WHO WE ARE

Our
Mission & Values

We are the Friends of FCAC (Franklin County Animal Control). We are not employees of the county. We are strictly a volunteer, nonprofit 501 (c)(3) with the intent to help offset the cost of spay/neuter of animals that are adopted from Franklin County Animal Control, and to educate the public on responsible pet ownership. The total cost to adopt from FCAC can be quite prohibitive and our goal is to help with this cost so that more animals may be adopted from our local shelter. By supporting our cause you are saving a life and giving that animal a second chance. Our long term aspiration is to provide low cost spay/neuter to all residents of Franklin County.

We are a small group of 4 local women who saw an unmet need, and because we are animal lovers ourselves, formed the Friends of FCAC.
